Leading the development of the world's first coupled mode data assimilation system, representing NOAA to participate the IPCC-AR5, as the only system that could seamlessly produce seasonal-interannual to interdecadal predictions
Leading the studies on the theory and algorithm of coupled model parameter estimation to alleviate the influence of systematic errors of climate models on climate estimation and prediction
