Tectonics and Metamorphic Geology
Recent research topics include (1) metamorphism and anatexis in the collision orogenic belt: North Qaidam and Altyn HP-UHP metamorphic belt , (2) supercontinent reconstruction: research on the precambrian metamorphic basement of Tarim craton, (3) continental crust growth and differentiation: continental arc metamorphism, anatexis and magmatism in North Qilian and North Qaidam, (4) tectonic processes of the Yanshanian continental margin: studies on metamorphism, deformation and magmatism of the Bangong-Nujiang suture belt in the southwestern continental margin, the subduction-collision belt of the Pacific Ocean in the eastern continental margin and the Mongol-Okhotsk orogenic belt in the northern continental margin.
